Gary Lineker shocked BBC Sport viewers when he made a lewd joke regarding Cristiano Ronaldo during coverage of Portugal's match against France.

Ronaldo's legs were being massaged by two physios ahead of extra-time in their Euro 2024 quarter-final clash against France which saw Portugal crash out with a penalty shootout defeat. Lineker seemingly saw an opportunity for the rather inappropriate joke and jumped on it.

WHAT LINEKER SAID
Ex-England defender Rio Ferdinand couldn't help but comment on the two masseurs, saying: "He has two masseuses on his legs there! What's going on there? One on each leg."
To which Lineker replied: "Thankfully, he hasn't got three."

Ronaldo remained on the pitch for the full 120 minutes as Portugal played out a goalless draw with Les Bleus. The Selecao star then stepped up to score his penalty in the subsequent shootout, but team-mate Joao Felix hit the post with his effort while France scored all five of theirs, sending France through and Portugal out.

Ronaldo and his team-mates will return home to lick their wounds after their upset in Germany while France will go on to face Spain in the semi-finals. England take on Switzerland on Saturday to fight for their spot in the last four before Netherlands meet Turkey in the remaining quarter-final.
